Faia is a Chelian born NPC. As revealed in a comic created by Reza, the artist of Path to Power, Faia was a shoe polisher on the streets of Chel'el'Sussoloth before meeting amnesiac Badai An'Karaa, but since he could not remember his name she gave him the name Radin, the name of her deceased pet Tik'tikki. She also gives him a prosthetic limb to compensate for his missing arm and hide his identity, though it is of poor quality.
She reveals that she was born a slave, and she and her brother were members of the squatters who were initially living in the ruins that would become Ther'avare. She was out gathering food at the time of the battle over the ruins, and arrived just in time to see Shiir'fhayah deliver the killing blow to her brother at the conclusion of their fight. Because of this she swore revenge on Shiir, and enlisted Badai to help.
When Badai was eventually located in the epilogue she came along, and was eventually accepted into the clan. Since Shiir had left to be with the Val'Sullisin'rune she has presumably buried her grudge.
